Pahor Points Out Slovenia's Exclusion From Special Status in WEU
Ljubljana, 6 June - Borut Pahor, envoy of Parliamentary Defence Committee, submitted a report on status of Slovenia in the Western European Union (WEU) to the Committee on Monday. Deputies are to discuss the report on Thursday. In an interview for STA, Pahor stressed the importance of the Kirchenberg declaration, which does not include Slovenia, on joint membership of nine Central European countries in WEU. The declaration is important because it offers a variety of possibilities to the nine countries with a joint membership status for cooperation.
