NATO and Slovenia to Discuss Progress Towards Membership
Brussels, 20 October - NATO and Slovenia are to meet in Brussels on Tuesday to review the country's progress towards NATO membership. This last meeting held on the basis of the Membership Action Plan (MAP) will be headed by Foreign Ministry State Secretary Samuel Zbogar on behalf of Slovenia, which is to become a NATO member in May 2004. It will take place as part of a meeting of the NATO's Senior Political Committee (Reinforced).
