Ljubljana, 20 October - The STA English service will cover the following events on Tuesday, 21 October:
LJUBLJANA - Czech President Vaclav Klaus is to start a two-day official visit to Slovenia on the invitation of President Janez Drnovsek. The two officials are to talk to the press at 12.35 PM.
BRUSSELS - NATO and Slovenia are to meet to review the country's progress towards NATO membership as part of a meeting of NATO's Senior Political Committee (Reinforced).
PARIS - Speaker of the Slovenian Parliament Borut Pahor, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, is to pay an official visit to France.
BRUSSELS - Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to visit the European Commission to present Slovenian views on the EU's latest financial perspective in talks with head of the Directorate General for Regional Policy Graham Meadows and acting Director General of the Directorate General for Enlargement Fabrizio Barbaso.
LJUBLJANA - The largest IT show in Slovenia, Infos, will open its doors at 5 PM with the opening address delivered by Prime Minister Anton Rop.
LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to hold public debates on two crucial pieces of legislation, namely the comprehensive anti-corruption act and the act on the Triglav National Park. Debates start at 3 PM and 5 PM, respectively
LJUBLJANA - Slovenian flag carrier Adria Airways and Russian carrier Aeroflot are to sign an agreement on code-chare co-operation.
