Changes to Official Secrets Act Take Effect
Ljubljana, 22 October - Changes to the official secrets act which enable Slovenian soldiers to take part in international peacekeeping operations took effect on Wednesday. The amendments, which were passed by parliament on 2 October, had been drafted chiefly to allow Slovenian soldiers to take part in a peacekeeping mission to Afghanistan.
