Journalists Take a Look at Their Reporting on Slovenian-Croatian Issues

Ljubljana, 23 October - Slovenian and Croatian journalists on Wednesday evening refused to take the blame for bad relations between their two countries. However, Bruno Lopandic, a foreign desk commentator of the Croatian daily Vjesnik, admitted in a debate that Slovenian as well as Croatian journalists make mistakes by not checking the facts. Too often journalists listen to politicians, even though their job is not to defend political stances, he added.
