Solana is "Willing to Assist" Slovenia and Croatia

Brussels, 24 October - The EU's foreign policy and defence chief Javier Solana is willing to assist Slovenia and Croatia in resolving their dispute over the maritime border in the Piran Bay, STA was told by Solana's press secretary. However, Christina Gallach underscored that in no way would Solana, who is said to be in touch with both sides, play the role of a mediator or arbiter.
