Public Sector Wage Act to be Shelved for Six Months

Ljubljana, 28 October - The implementation of the public sector wage act passed in April of last year may be delayed by six months. The government is planning to submit shortly an amendment to this effect to parliament to be adopted in an emergency procedure. Under the proposed amendment to the act, new legislation would be effective as of 30 June 2004.
