Red Cross of Slovenia report on number of dead and wounded in the conflict
Ljubljana, 1 July - The Red Cross of Slovenia has mediated the newest data on the number of escapees, wounded and dead in the conflicts between the Yugoslav armed forces and the territorial defence. 51 civilians, 38 territorial defence and 11 policemen have been wounded, there are 980 army prisoners and 726 escapees of the Yugoslav armed forces. 21 have died so far, of these 5 were soldiers of the Yugoslav armed forces, 3 were from the Slovenian territorial defence, 2 were policemen, 5 civilians, 1 a foreign citizen and 5 have not been identified yet. These numbers have to be added to the data of the Yugoslav Red Cross: 38 wounded Yugoslav soldiers and 4 civilians employed in the Yugoslav armed forces. The Yugoslav Information Service adds a list of 22 Yugoslav soldiers dead. The Red Cross of Slovenia warns that these numbers have not been strictly verified, because data is frequently duplicated and has to be verified continuously.
