Session of the Presidency of the RS has been going on
Ljubljana, 2 July - In Ljubljana an expanded session of the Presidency of the Republic of Slovenia has been going on all afternoon, the session was also participated by the President of the Presidency of Yugoslavia, Mr. Stipe Mešić and two of its members, Mr. Vasil Tupurkovski and Mr. Janez Drnovšek, as well as by the Slovenian prime minister, Mr. Lojze Peterle, with the foreign, internal, defence and information ministers, who accepted the proposal of Mr. Stipe Mešić and Vasil Tupurkovski on the cessation of armed conflicts in Slovenia with four points: 1. Cease-fire immediately or at 19.00 on July 2, 1991 at the latest, 2. Separation of forces and withdrawal to the barracks: in conflictless situations at once; in problematic situations with the help of special commissions on lower level, 3. Release of prisoners on both sides, 4. Definition of the conditions of the cease-fire by a group composed of representatives of the SFRY and the representatives of the Republic of Slovenia, 5. Participation of the observers of CSCE. The same, as Mr. Stipe mešiĆ stated at the presss conference, has also been done by the Yugoslav armed forces.
