Security of the Krško nuclear power plant is threat

Ljubljana, 3 July - Today Mr. Marjan F. Levstek, assitant to the manager of the Krško nuclear power plant, and Mr. Miroslav Gregorič, director of the Republican nuclear safety board, sent a letters to Mr. Hans Blix, general manager of the International organization for nuclear power, in which they inform him that security of the Krško nuclear power plant is threatend due to military activities of the federal troops. At 5.50 the military aircrafts belonging to the Yugoslav Army flew over the nuclear power plant several times although the truce has been negotiated after the three West European ministers visted Zagreb on July 1. The threat that the nuclear power plant may represent an army target may has thus become real, which is why it has been shut down, say the two executives.
