Mr. Jože Mencinger on war damages
Ljubljana, 6 July - Former vice-president of the Slovenian Government and acknowledged economist, Dr. Jože Mencinger, in a special statement for STA said, that the first estimates of the war damage resulting from the military interventions, are, in his opinion, unreal and to an economist nonsensical. It's possible, however, that the Slovenian economy has suffered several 100 million dollars in direct damages, but these estimates are also only approximate.
