First deputy to Foreign Minister of Soviet Union in Ljubljana
Ljubljana, 7 July - This evening the first deputy to the Foreign Minister of the Soviet Union, Julij Kvincinski, will visit Ljubljana as a personal envoy of Soviet President Gorbačov. The delegation accompanying him will also comprise the Soviet ambassador to Yugoslavia, Vadim Loginov, and Consulate General of the Soviet Union in Zagreb, Jurij Girenko. The Soviet delegation will meet in Ljubljana today with member of the Slovenian presidency, Ciril Zlobec, and tomorrow with the President of the Slovenian Presidency, Milan Kučan, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, Slovenian representative to the Yugoslav Presidency, Janez Drnovšek, and expectedly with the President of the Slovenian Government, Lojze Peterle. A statement for the press is expected, following the conclusion of the talks tomorrow.
