Yugoslav National Bank in Violation of Brioni declaration
Ljubljana, 11 July - According to the information given by the republican finance minister, Mr. Dušan Šešok and the governor of Slovene Central Bank, Mr. Franc Arhar, The Yugoslav National Bank is in violation of Brioni Declaration, since it did not call off the measures for monetary isolation of Slovenia, which the Board of Governors put into force on June 28th. The nature of the measures is as follows: stopping the flow of all credits based on currency issue, elimination of Bank of Slovenia from foreign currency market, prohibition of credit-taking abroad and stopping all deliveries of cash. Simultaneously, these measures have already caused a chain reaction. The Republic of Serbia is delaying all due payments to the Republic of Slovenia, it is withholding Slovene goods and payments for these goods that were sold in Slovene shops on the territory of Serbian republic.
