Prime minister Peterle received German ambassador

Ljubljana, 18 July - The Slovenian Prime Minister, Mr. Lojze Peterle has today received the German ambassador, Dr. Hansjorga Eiff. Mr. Peterle informed him of the developments during the Yugoslav army intervention in Slovenia and in particular with the attack on Ljubljana Airport. Mr. Peterle emphasized that the closure of Slovenian airports is an additional proof that it is also a matter of trade war, which is obviously not over yet. During the talks, Mr. Eiff disclaimed the insinuations about a possible Fourth Reich and emphasized that The German Republic will not fall victim to history but will hold to the principles of European Community.
