Ohrid Declaration adopted
Ljubljana, 23 July - The extended session of the Presidency of Yugoslavia was concluded late last night, resulting in the adoption of the Ohrid Declaration. Among other things, this peace document calls for the dissolution of all illegal military formations, demobilisation of reservists in Croatia, return of the Yugoslav Army in Croatia to the barracks immediately following the disarmament and demobilisation of reserve units of the Croatian police and the appointment of special groups of observers to supervise the implementation of the the Brioni Declaration. The President of the Presidency of Slovenia, Milan Kučan and the representative of Slovenia in the Presidency of Yugoslavia, Janez Drnovšek attended the Ohrid meeting and are returning to Ljubljana this afternoon. The two statesmen will hold a press conference slated for 3 p.m. in order to provide more information on the Ohrid document.
