Drnovšek: All slovene soldiers are to leave YA during three intervals
Ljubljana, 25 July - Dr. Janez Drnovšek, the representative of the Republic of Slovenia in the Federal Presidency, stated after a meeting with the Federal Secretary of Defence General Veljko Kadijević, that the decree on the discharge of all soldiers of Slovene nationality from the YA was issued today. According to this decree, all Slovene soldiers are to leave their army units during three intervals and by August 15, at the latest. After this date, there will be no more Slovene soldiers in any unit of the Yugoslav Army. Dr. Drnovšek also again discussed the opening of Slovenia's airspace and airports with General Kadijević. General Kadijević stated that a high-ranking officer of the Yugoslav Air Force had already been dispatched to Slovenia with orders to ensure the immediate opening of Slovenia's airspace and airports, pending the Slovene side's handing over of the fuel depot located on the military airport of Cerklje.
