Truckers Unlikely to Block Traffic with Austria

Ljubljana, 7 January - Transport Minister Jakob Presecnik hopes that Slovenian lorry drivers will not block border crossings with Austria on 12 January as they announced due to Austria's reluctance to respect the new transit regime for road freight transport adopted by the EU Council on 22 December. Presecnik met with representatives of lorry drivers on Wednesday, saying that "good progress" has been made.
