Austria has not recognized Slovenia, Croatia
Ljubljana, 3 September - Austrian foreign minister Alois Mock has failed in the endeavours for the Austiran government to authorize chancellor Vranitzky officially to recognize Slovenia and Croatia, reports the Austrian news agency APA, noting that Mock evoked the "moral obligation to all the casualties of further clashes." Terrorist actions and military interventions are unacceptable in today's Europe, and in order to forestall them the democratic will of citizens should be respected as in that way alone they would be able to take part in negotiaitons on new relations in Yugoslavia, Mock said.
