Statement Made by Branko Kostic
Belgrade, 8 September - Vice-president of the Presidency of Yugoslavia, Branko Kostić, in a statement for the Belgrade Radio and Television today said that he had the feeling that the truth of the matter concerning the conflicts in Croatia is becoming more and more evident to the circle of representatives of the European Community. It is more important to EC members to preserve the process of the formation of Europe as a community, than putting this process in question by some countries individual moves which have expressed stronger interests in Slovenia and Croatia. Dr. Kostić added, that he is skeptical concerning the cease of the conflicts in Croatia, as peace does not suit the Croatian leadership at this moment.
