Markovic's Talks in the Hague

Belgrade, 8 September - Following the conclusion of yesterday's plenary session of the Peace Conference on Yugoslavia in The Hague, President of the Executive Council of Yugoslavia, Ante Marković held a number of bilateral talks with preeminent European politicians. He informed them of the actual situation in Yugoslavia and of the federal government's proposal for the resolution of the Yugoslav crisis. Marković also presented the European politicians with the concept of a Yugoslavia without internal or external borders, with which the integration of the entire country with Europe would be possible. President of the Federal Government also told them that, at this moment, Yugoslavia, in addition to moral support for the peaceful resolution of the crisis, also desperately needs financial aid.
