The International Peace Caravan is Coming to Yugoslavia

Ljubljana, 9 September - Ms. Sonja Lokar stated at a press conference held today in Ljubljana that an international peace caravan, on the instigation of the Helsinki Parliament of Citizens, will be arriving in Yugoslavia, with the goal of supporting the efforts for a peaceful solution to the crisis in Yugoslavia. The Helsinki Parliament of Citizens is an organization which links various groups of citizens, who are striving for global peace, throughout the world. The idea of this caravan was given in Moscow on August 10, and concerns an attempt of linking Yugoslav peace groups with international peace movements, in an effort to stop the war in Yugoslavia.
