The Assembly's commission for international affairs on Conference at Haag
Ljubljana, 11 September - Participating at the today's session of the Commission for International Affairs, of the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia were, the President of the Presidency of the Republic of Slovenia, Milan Kučan and the foreign Minister, dr. Dimitrij Rupel. The purpose of this session was the debate on what would be the points of origin for the Slovenian delegation at the peace conference at Haag. President Kučan first described the events which lead to this Conference and what was said on this occasion, as well as the clearly defined position of Slovenia which was presented and the mutual accusations which were taking place between Croatia and Serbia. "The conference confirmed that the solution of the Yugoslav crisis must be arrived at by application of international law because it is the international entities that are involved" said President Kučan.
