The Assembly will debate the privatization law next week too

Ljubljana, 14 September - The proposal of the law, which was considered by the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia even late into yesterday's night, was not accepted. Qn the contrary, it received many criticisms and the debate turned up other proposals. The meeting of the slovenian Assembly will continue next week, while a special work group prepares a proposal of the privatization law which would be more acceptable to the majority. The group is to consist of five representatives from each chamber of the Assembly. All in all, there will be eight representatives of Demos and seven representatives of the opposition in it. The first meeting of the work group, which is to complete its work by next Friday, will take place on Monday.
