Capital Market to Benefit from EU Entry, a Forum Says
Ljubljana, 9 March - Slovenia's EU entry, followed by accession to the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II and the eurozone will bring interest rates down, which means there will be more money from banks flowing into the stock market. This will in turn benefit the Slovenian economy because companies will be able to start a new investment cycle. This thesis has been confirmed on the cases of other countries joining the EU, head of the Ljubljana Faculty of Law Economics Institute told an annual stock market forum in Ljubljana on Tuesday.
