Meeting of the work group of the Chamber of Associated Labour

Ljubljana, 16 September - Today a work group of the Chamber of Associated Labour (CAL) met at the first session of the Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, with the task to form a proposal for the laws concerning the ownership reform of companies. They maintain that simultaneous work, in the Republican Assembly, of this group and party commissions in no way inhibits them. On the contrary, the CAL work group believes that it is possible, in the framework of proposed political and expert solutions, to prepare such an ownership reform law, as will be acceptable not only for the delegates of CAL, but also for the delegates of the other two chambers. The CAL work group also says that in this case they are not taking an oppositional stance, the chamber is not an opposition, and also most of its members are not from oppositional parties, therefore any such classification would be unsuitable.
