Ljubljana, 17 September - DELO: CROATIAN TURNABOUT - Faced with Europe's "soft" demands and "hard" demands of his compatriots, dr Franjo Tuđman finally took a decision resulting in a decisive turn on the frontline after a series of defeats of Croatia's armed forces and the loss of a sizable part of its territory. The Croatian president thus obeyed the voice of reason, probably risking an angry response by a part of Europen diplomats who, in spite of all, have not yet grasped the essence of the Balkan conflicts. And that is alarming, since the war in Croatia is not the only trouble facing the agonizing Yugoslavia, writes Goran Moravček.
