Duty-Free Shops Open Again

Ljubljana, 21 September - The Secretariat for Information of the Federal Executive Council has reported that, at the last session of the federal government, they passed an act on the re-introduction of Duty-Free shops in all cities with customs control offices. The merchandise which will be sold in these shops will be subsequently determined by the federal government, but for the moment it is known that the following products will be available: coffee, chocolate, cosmetics, jewellery, acoustic and video apparatuses. The netto foreign currency inflow is expected to be 70 million dollars by the end of the year.
