Meeting of the Red Cross of Slovenia with representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross

Ljubljana, 23 September - Because of the reigning conditions and the greater and greater number of refugees fleeing to Slovenia, the Red Cross of Slovenia proposed and also organized a meeting with a representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross, Mr. Pablo Losly. There are nearly 8,000 refugees in Slovenia already, only in these past two days over 2,000 people have fled to safety to Slovenia. So that just accommodations and food is already becoming a huge burden to Slovenia, for this comes to 2 million dinars a day, an amount which it cannot handle.
