Ljubljana, 24 March - Below is a schedule of events for Thursday, 25 March:
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Leaders of the 25-member EU, including Slovenia's PM Anton Rop, are to begin a two-day spring summit, focusing on terrorism, economic topics and the restart of the talks on the constitutional treaty. Foreign and finance ministers are to attend as well, including Slovenia's Dimitrij Rupel and Dusan Mramor. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to continue its regular March session to discuss, among other items, the bill on cooperation of government and parliament after EU entry in third reading and the national strategy on spatial planning in first reading. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The cabinet is to convene for its weekly session at 9 AM, to discuss amendments to the bill on consumers' protection, the companies' act, and the bill on higher education. (STA)

LJUBLJANA/KOPER - Israeli Transport Minister Avigdor Lieberman is to meet with representatives of the Slovenian Maritime Directorate, the Koper port and the airport operator Aerodrom Ljubljana before ending his two-day visit to Slovenia.
LJUBLJANA - Trade unions in the industry sector are to stage different forms of industrial action, from workers' assemblies to token strikes, in their demands for higher wages.

They are gathering in Ljubljana to attend the 7th conference of their capitals and will be joined for the first time by mayors from capitals of the countries of the Western Balkans.
