Gov't Refugee Agency to be Abolished on 1 April
Ljubljana, 30 March - The Government Refugee Agency will be abolished on 1 April after more than ten years of helping persons who have been forced to leave their homes. Since 1992, the agency has given shelter to almost 70,000 refugees, mostly from the former Yugoslavia. However, as the refugee situation is now calm, the agency is being disbanded.
