SLOVENIAN PRESS OVERVIEW

Ljubljana, 26 September - DELO: Fear and insecurity - Europe's dealings with the Yugoslav crisis, based on the levelling of all the sides involved while forgetting the very conditions for Yugoslavia's admission into EEC it tried to impose some time ago, are unfortunately mishandled. Democracy, human rights and market economy were the terms set by Europe. Today they are observed only by a few, the others do not seem to care. It is thus inconceivable that the Serbs are being almost rewarded for their aggression while the Slovenes are being unjustly dragged into the Balkan circle of violence, writes Mr. Stane Ivanc.
