EU Accession Will Put Slovenian Economy to the Test
Ljubljana, 3 April - The Slovenian economy is comparable to that of the EU both in terms of structure and trade. The GDP per capita reaches about 70 percent of EU average. However, to catch up with advanced EU economies, the Slovenian GDP will have to grow at least two times faster than is the average growth in the EU.
