Slovenia Hoping to Adopt Euro in Less than 3 Years
Ljubljana, 5 April - Slovenia is one of the future EU members which wish to adopt the single European currency as soon as possible. Slovenia's goals envisage entry into ERM II - the two-year grooming phase for euro zone membership - by December 2004 and subsequently the immediate adoption of the euro at the beginning of 2007.
