Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 3 to 9 April
Ljubljana, 10 April - Last week a third of the Slovenian electorate turned up at the polls to reject an act dealing with the disputed issue of the erased. The same issue was at the core of the dispute which spelt the end of SLS's time in the ruling coalition. As a result its ministers resigned from the government last week, but Prime Minister Anton Rop did not hesitate to nominate their replacements. The cabinet is therefore likely to welcome five new ministers in late April as parliament is expected to take a vote on 19 April.
