Slovenia & Schengen: No Major Changes upon EU Entry
Ljubljana, 12 April - Slovenian citizens can expect no major changes when crossing the borders immediately upon the country's 1 May entry into the EU. Before the border could be crossed "freely", the newcomers to the EU will have to fully implement Schengen standards on what will be the EU external border. In the case of Slovenia, this will be its border with Croatia.
