Koper-Based Insurer Reports Profits of EUR 3.2m
Koper, 8 April - Insurer Zavarovalnica Adriatic wrapped up the 2003 business year with SIT 758m (EUR 3.18m) in profits, which it says is some 40 percent above the projected figure. Premiums were up 11 percent over 2002 to SIT 28.3bn (EUR 119m), while cash reserves rose by 18 percent. Adriatic paid out claims of SIT 17.3bn (EUR 72.6m) to its policy-holders, up 10 percent.
