BRDO PRI KRANJU - Austrian President Thomas Klestil is to pay an official visit to discuss bilateral topics with his Slovenian counterpart and host Janez Drnovsek. Drnovsek and Klestil are scheduled to speak to the press at 12.15 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Cohesion policies of the EU will top the agenda as Finnish Minister for Regional Development and Local Government Hannes Manninen begins a two-day working visit at the invitation of his counterpart Zdenka Kovac. Statement to the press at 1.15 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary infrastructure and environment committee is to "hear" the candidate for a new transport minister, Marko Pavliha, at 9 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - LDS leader Anton Rop is to present to the press at 11 AM a letter about Slovenia's future. The letter will be sent to Slovenian households in the coming days. (STA)
TULLAMORE, Ireland - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is to attend a two-day informal meeting of foreign ministers from current and future EU members, which will be the last meeting of its kind before the EU expands on 1 May.
VIENNA, Austria - Anti-terrorism measures are to be discussed in a meeting of interior ministers from six of the current EU member states and five newcomers. Slovenian Interior Minister Rado Bohinc will be among the participants of the meeting hosted by Austria's Ernst Strasser.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The outgoing Europe Minister Janez Potocnik is to attend a meeting of the International Commission for the Balkans, which aims to develop a vision of Balkan countries to join the EU.
LJUBLJANA - SLS leader Janez Podobnik is to speak to the press 10.30 AM about his party's activity after it has recently been expelled from the government coalition.
LJUBLJANA - Consultations between Slovenia and France on the OSCE are to be led by Foreign Ministry State Secretary Samuel Zbogar and Paul Dahan, deputy director for strategic matters, security and disarmament at the French Foreign Ministry; at 10.30.
LJUBLJANA - The manner in which Slovenia's EU entry will be marked is to be presented to the press at 11 AM by representatives of the European Delegation in Slovenia and the Ljubljana municipality. (STA)
LEIBNIZ, Austria - The Euroregion Steiermark - NE Slovenia is to host a bilateral forum to discuss upgrading the euroregion's cross-border cooperation structures; begins at 9.30 AM. (STA)
CELJE - As part of "patriotic panels", Speaker of the National Assembly Borut Pahor is to speak at 7 PM about Slovenian identity upon EU entry.
LJUBLJANA - Before a three-day protest of students of three Slovenian academies wraps up, the students are to outline to the press their view on the lengthy search of a location where new academies are to be built. (STA)
PORTOROZ - A two-day international event on general education is to begin at 9.30 AM, with participation of Minister of Education, Science and Sport Slavko Gaber and several experts.
LJUBLJANA - Three regional museums from the northeast of Slovenia are to present a joint project about Ancient Romans.
