Andreotti and Kohl discuss Yugoslavia

Rome, 4 October - Italy's Prime Minister Andreotti during a lengthy meeting today with Germany's Chancellor Kohl discussed the recent developments in Yugoslavia. According to the Italian press agency ANSA, the two heads of state agreed that "increased efforts on the part of the European Community and more direct involvement by the United Nations in finding a peaceful solution" were necessary. Andreotti and Kohl will meet again on Monday for a renewed discussion of the issue.
