EBRD Pulling Out of Merkur; Bargain Price for New Owners

Ljubljana, 22 April - The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is selling its 14.4-percent share in Merkur, Slovenia's leading technical goods retailer, in line with the bank's policy. The EBRD became a Merkur shareholder in October of 1997.
