Parliament Amends Energy Act

Ljubljana, 23 April - Lawmakers passed changes to the energy act on Friday. transposing two EU directives on electricity and gas. The amendments also make it possible to privatise the largest Slovenian company, the power plant group Holding Slovenske elektrarne, and setting forth that the power companies cannot cut off power supply to poor households.
