Getting Ready for Language Diversity in the EU
Ljubljana, 25 April - After 1 May, Slovenian will be one of the official languages in the EU. All Slovenians will be able to use their native language in communicating with the EU's institutions, just like officials will be able to use Slovenian at official sessions and meetings since translations will be provided for. Yet the existence of 21 official languages will also require changes in Slovenia as well as in the EU.
