EU Entry: Series of Events to Mark Slovenia's EU Membership
Ljubljana, 29 April - Slovenia's EU entry will be celebrated in a number of large-scale events on 30 April and 1 May in the capital of Ljubljana and on the borders with the country's neighbouring EU members. Dubbed the central national ceremony, the event in the border city of Nova Gorica will be addressed by Slovenian PM Anton Rop and European Commission President Romano Prodi.
