Slovenia's EU entry-related events:
LJUBLJANA - The parliament is to mark Slovenia's 1 May EU entry with a ceremonial session. Beginning at 8 PM, the session is expected to be attended by around 250 guests, with Speaker Borut Pahor as the keynote speaker. The Slovenian and EU anthems are to be played, and an EU flag raised in the parliament next to the Slovenian one. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The launch of a book tracing Slovenia's path towards EU membership is to take place at 3 PM. "Vzpon med evropske zvezde" (The Rise towards European Stars) will be published by the Foreign Ministry, and presented by FM Dimitrij Rupel. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Chair of the parliamentary European affairs commission Alojz Peterle is to give a press conference at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The council of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) is to convene for a ceremonial session at 5 PM to adopt a document called European Manifest.
LJUBLJANA - The Farmers' Trade Union of Slovenia is to give a press conference at 10.30 AM prior to Slovenia's 1 May EU entry. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Ljubljana Auxiliary Bishop Andrej Glavan is to celebrate a mass for the homeland at the Ljubljana Cathedral of St. Nicholas to mark Slovenia's EU entry; at 6.30 PM.
DUBLIN, Ireland - The University College is to host a two-day conference on art in Eastern Europe, Slovenia and Ireland after 1960; two Slovenian theoreticians are to attend, namely Marina Grzinic and Bojana Kunst. Meanwhile, an info office of the New Slovenian Art movement (NSK) is to be opened at Dublin's cultural neighbourhood Temple Bar.
BRUSSELS, Belgium - An election convention is to open the campaign for European elections of European Liberals (ELDR); the event is to be attended by Slovenia's PM and leader of the Liberal Democrats (LDS) Anton Rop. (STA)
LUXEMBOURG - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc is to attend a two-day meeting of EU justice and home affairs ministers which is to focus on anti-terrorism measures and refugees-related matters.
LJUBLJANA - At its weekly session, the government is to discuss draft changes to the customs service act and a tax service bill. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's Statistics Office is to present some latest statistical figures at a press conference scheduled for 10.30 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Transport Minister Marko Pavliha is present at 2 PM a conference on the 5th pan-European transport route which is scheduled for 3 and 4 May in Portoroz. The 88th session of CEMT ministerial council - to take place in Ljubljana from 26 to 27 May - is also to be presented. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary commission for Slovenians abroad is to hold two sessions to discuss a number of issues related to Slovenians living around the world. A press conference at 5.30 PM after the emergency session. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) is to host a traditional reception prior to 1 May - Labour Day; at 11 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The cable TV operator Telemach is to present its business results and plans at a news conference at 11 AM.
