EU Entry: Environment Minister Optimistic about Slovenia's EU Alignment
Ljubljana, 30 April - In the field of the environment - which was subject to the most substantial part of EU-legislation alignment alongside agriculture - Slovenia is one of the most ready EU newcomers, Environment Minister Janez Kopac said Friday. He stressed the country has managed to adapt some 250 EU directives, and obtained three transitional periods.
