DUBLIN/LIMERICK, Ireland - Slovenian Prime Minister Anton Rop is to meet his Irish counterpart Berti Ahern to discuss the challenges of the enlarged EU. Later in the day, Rop is scheduled to visit Limerick, the Irish city that welcomed Slovenia in the EU. There the PM is to meet Irish and Slovenian businessmen. (STA)
PARIS, France - Mayor of Ljubljana Danica Simsic is due to leave for Paris, where she is to attend a congress of International Union of Local Authorities (IULA) and the United Towns Organisation (UTO/FMCU).
BELCA PRI MOJSTRANI - A human chain of 30,000 Slovenians, Austrians and Italians is expected to be formed over the Jeprca saddle in the Karavanke mountain range to celebrate Slovenia's EU entry at the initiative of the Austrian Hallo Nachbar association. The event is scheduled for 11:30 AM.
LENDAVA - Officials from Slovenia, Hungary and Croatia are to meet at the border point between the three countries at 4 PM to mark Slovenia's and Hungary's accession to the EU.
