Italian and Slovenian Unionists Gather for a Joint Rally

Nova Gorica, 1 May - More than 20,000 workers from Slovenia and Italy have turned up for a joint May Day rally in the square joining Slovenia's city of Nova Gorica and Italy's Gorizia. Unlike last night when movement was restricted due to tightened security for the EU entry ceremony, people could freely wander across the border on Saturday.
