EU Leaders Welcome the Largest Enlargement Ever

Dublin, 1 May - The leaders of the 25 member states of the newly enlarged European Union gathered in Dublin Saturday afternoon to welcome what is the largest expansion in the history of Europe. The highlight of the ceremony, attended on behalf of Slovenia by PM Anton Rop, was when the flags of all 25 nations were raised together with the EU flag.
