Human Chain Too Short to Cross Karavanke Mountains
Kranjska Gora, 2 May - Residents of the Austrian province of Carinthia and Slovenia's Gorenjsko region failed to form a human chain over the Karavanke mountain range, which was supposed to celebrate Slovenia's accession to the EU on Sunday. Even though a few hundred people did come to join the chain, there was insufficient "links".
