Ljubljana, 8 July - A conference of foreign ministers of nine Central and Eastern European countries was convened for a single reason: Washington wanted to give a little more hope to the countries, which are patiently and with great expectations waiting in the hallway of the United Europe, to convince them to persist in the transition of one to another economic and political world, and the United States of America would stand by their side. Such is the perception of the conference in Warsaw by the commentator of the Delo daily on Friday.
