Gov't Rejects Bill on Relations with Slovenians Abroad

Ljubljana, 6 May - The government on Thursday rejected the bill on relations with Slovenians abroad, saying it discriminated against Slovenian citizens and interfered with the sovereignty of other countries. Responding to the rejection, the proponent of the bill, opposition MP Franc Puksic, said the government is afraid of Slovenians abroad.
